Melisa Sloan
Melisa Sloan is the founder of Madison Sloan Lawyers, a published author, a professional speaker and board member and loves helping people to create beautiful legacies.
She has practised law for almost two decades, predominantly in estate planning and probate with a particular emphasis on complex estate planning matters.
Melisa has also featured in The Australian, The Weekend Australian, Canberra Times, Lawyers Weekly, Money Magazine, Kochie’s Business Builders, Business Essentials Daily, Canstar, Flying Solo, ABC Radio National, 2ST, The Today Show and Sky News.
Melisa is also the author of Legacy, taking care of the most important people in your life, which was released in April 2021. Melisa’s second book, Big Moments, expert advice for conquering those moments that define us, was released in November 2023.
Melisa holds Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Law degrees and is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and Victorian Women Lawyers.
Melisa is on the Board of Directors of Expression Australia, an organisation that empowers people who are deaf, hard of hearing to overcome barriers in their life and choose how they want to live.

Conveyancing Manager
LOUISE AITKEN
Louise has had an extensive career in the legal profession in both Queensland and Victoria. Prior to joining Madison Sloan Lawyers Louise was employed by a large corporate law firm where she worked with a paralegal capacity with a number of Australian banks and companies on a vast range of conveyancing, banking and financial transactions.
Louise oversees all of the firms conveyancing matters and has extensive experience with PEXA and conveyancing transactions. She is passionate about her clients and making sure that their property settlement is a smooth process and builds strong relationships with clients during the process.
Louise enjoys travelling with her family during the holidays and playing the very unique sport of walking netball in her spare time.
Conveyancer
ERIN HASPELL
Having found her passion in conveyancing, Erin commenced working as a conveyancer so she could assist clients with their conveyancing needs.
Having recently purchased a property herself, Erin understands the importance of putting clients at ease when they are selling or purchasing a property.
Erin has extensive experience with PEXA and assists Louise on all client property matters.
In her spare time Erin likes cooking, spending time with her young family, and is looking forward to a family holiday to Disneyworld in the future.

SARAH WIGGS
In her previous roles Sarah has supported partners, senior associates and associates, in the areas of property, employment, crime and litigation.
Sarah enjoys supporting our busy team and in her spare time likes going for walks along the Yarra River, gardening and spending time with her young family.
Practice manager
Kaitlyn Storz
In her role as Practice Manager, Kaitlyn supports the Madison Sloan Lawyers team across a range of administrative tasks and is committed to providing thorough, thoughtful support that helps ensure a positive client experience.
She enjoys being a reliable point of support for our team, clients and contributing to a positive, friendly workplace.
Outside of work, Kaitlyn enjoys knitting and crocheting, gardening, walking her kelpie, Whiskey, and catching up with family and friends.
Paralegal
Eva kempster
Eva is currently studying a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce, and enjoys supporting the team across a range of legal and administrative tasks.
In her role as Paralegal, Eva is committed to providing compassionate support and helping clients navigate important legal matters.
In her spare time Eva enjoys knitting, cooking, and spending time with her friends and family.
